Six Tigers Earn CSC Women's At-Large Academic All-District Recognition

SPRINGFIELD, OH - Wittenberg had six female athletes named to the College Sports Communicators NCAA Division III Women’s At-Large Academic All-District team for the 2024-25 season, the CSC announced on Tuesday.
Two seniors were named to the team in Victoria Pipinich (Fort Worth, TX / All Saints Episcopal) and Hillary Humbaugh (Haubstadt, IN / Gibson Southern) along with juniors Izzy Selby (Cincinnati, OH / Seton) and Maren Raymond (Louisville, KY / Ballard) followed by sophomores Aysha Johnson (Kettering, OH / Fairmont) and Aubrey Stager (Saline, MI / Saline). Pipinich and Johnson are part of the Tiger field hockey team, while Raymond and Stager represent women’s lacrosse, and Humbaugh and Selby are on the women’s golf team.
The CSC All-District Team recognized student-athletes that succeed both in the classroom and in their sport. To qualify for the All-District team, the student-athletes must hold at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA while playing in at least 80 percent of their team’s games or starting in 66 percent of games over the course of the season.
Academic All-District honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. Humbaugh, Selby, and Stager are all candidates for Academic All-America.
Johnson and Humbaugh each boast a 4.0 GPA, while Raymond, Stager, and Selby each currently have over a 3.9, and Pipinich has over a 3.6.
