Women’s Tennis Falls to Baldwin Wallace, 6-1

BEREA, OH. – Wittenberg's women's tennis team traveled to Berea, Ohio, to take on Baldwin Wallace on Saturday, March 29, in a non-conference match at Pop Collins Tennis Courts.
The Tigers fell 6-1 to the Yellow Jackets getting a lone win at third singles behind the racket of Celeste Hartings (Tipp City, OH / Tippecanoe), who defeated her opponent 6-2, 6-3.
Wittenberg lost all three doubles matches in scores of 6-3 and 6-0 having to forfeit the third match. With the loss, the Tigers fall to 0-9 on the season, while Baldwin Wallace improves to 2-9 overall.

- Court 1: Caroline Sproule (Lewis Center, OH / Olentangy Orange) lost 6-4, 6-3
- Court 2: Marin Summers (Columbus, OH / Hilliard Davison) lost 6-3, 6-2
- Court 3: Celeste Hartings (Tipp City, OH / Tippecanoe) won 6-2, 6-3
- Court 4: Carissa Schroeder (Westerville, OH / Westerville South) lost 6-0, 6-1
- Court 5: Grace Ralston (Georgetown, OH / Georgetown) lost 6-0, 6-0
- Court 6: Forfeit by Wittenberg
Next up, the Tigers will travel to Earlham on Sunday, March 30, for a 2:30 p.m. match.
